HAP Academy OIC Grand Opening

Preparing a Highly Skilled Workforce through HAP Academy OIC!

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the HAP Academy OIC Workforce Training Center, which will provide innovative career and job training in high-demand industries. Co-located with, and working alongside, the Community School of Excellence (CSE) High School, a Hmong K-12 charter school, HAP Academy OIC will prepare and train Minnesota’s future workforce in manufacturing, health care, education, human services, office administration, customer service, financial services, transportation, and more.

Our grand opening event will feature presentations from CSE high school students and Hmoob Toj Siab Montessori students, along with remarks from Senator Eric Pratt and Hamse Warfa, the Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, and many other prominent community leaders.

Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m., with a formal program from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by lunch and tours of the facility running every 30 minutes between 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. If you cannot attend the morning program, feel free to stop by for a tour and stay to network with HAP Academy OIC’s employer and college/university partners, including Saint Paul College and Century College.
