Are you between the ages of 16-24, out of high school, but not yet sure what you want to do with your career? Are you looking for a high-paying career job, but don’t want to go back to school? HAP’s Youth Job Skills program might be right for you!

We work to assess your talents and skills, and then help you chart the right career path for you. Everyone has potential and deserves the chance to realize it. We can help you set real goals, and connect you to professionals who will be willing to train you and help you build career experience. If you dropped out of school, we can also help you obtain a GED, or even potentially apply for school credit recovery!

Our Youth Job Skills program targets at-risk youth ages 16-24 who have either been involved in the juvenile justice system, did not complete high school, are young parents, MFIP recipients, or are otherwise unable to engage in education and career tracks.

Our program offers help to clients in:

  • Career navigation
  • Paid internships/apprentice
  • Budgeting and financial literacy
  • School completion (Staying in school, obtaining a GED, and school credit recovery)

Our career training currently offers three main industry/sector focuses designed to teach clients valuable, marketable skills that will help them find good paying, career-level jobs.

  • Healthcare
  • IT and Technology
